i am thankful for nicknames in mexico. last night i hung out with...
skinny (flaca), chicken (pollo) and rabbit (that one is in english. which is kinda strange. he is french canadian and the mexican boys gave it to him.)
there are also other names that are fun.
potatoes (papas)
fatty (gordo or gordito)
so in honor of our fun names and our new walkie-talkies... i introduce to you, "Ha-my-ka". my new vegetable name.
(now i just have to figure out how to spell it. the internet is no help... it can't decide if it wants to be in english or spanish and neither is making sense this morning.)
