december 31, 1999... i was married. living near big lake alaska. (near wasilla alaska. near anchorage alaska. far from anywhere.) most people were freaking out about the new year, but we were living in the woods using a generator for power, wood for heat and the ground for water. there wasn't much to worry about. on the survival front...
tonight... i'm single. living with an amazing (amazingly unique) man that i met the 1st time 1991. i am in portland oregon. (near everything) i've prepared homemade coconut (chocolate dipped) macaroons and a salmon dip from salmon up north, to take to a friend's party.
a lot has changed in the wishes i have. in 1999 i was hoping to keep my marriage together, the 3000+ square foot house out of bankruptcy and my sanity.
this time... clarity, sunshine and peace. (and the growing ability to not spend money on stuff.)
i am grateful for... love and awareness.
