i am thankful when the power goes out! yesterday a car hit a power pole and a line dropped in the street and the power went out. i went out later that night, to find it still out and everyone in town. most of the restaurants were still open, just no lights and there were enough musicians around to keep the square lively. it is reassuring to find that night life continues even when the power is out.
